Chefchaouen is more magical than you can imagine. The old town is all painted blue and is wonderful to walk around. You won’t be the only one though, apart from tourists, there will also be many, many cats! After seeing so many gorgeous cats in Chefchaouen, and taking numerous photos of them, I felt like they deserved their own post. They made the perfect models among the picturesque streets and alleyways.
One of the lovely staff in our guest house told us that in order for locals to house one of the cats as their own, they would have to go to the vets and get a certificate for their health. I wonder how many of them had owners…
Read how I spent 5 days in the blue city here.
Note: I didn’t feed any of the cats as I didn’t want to encourage them to approach tourists but I could still appreciate how adorable they were.
There you have it, 20 adorable photos of cats in Chefchaouen. Do you love photographing cats when you travel?

This is probably my favourite post I’ve seen today! I spend nearly ALL my time on holiday looking for animals, especially cats. I find them so much more interesting to photograph than anything else. They definitely deserve their own post 🙂
Omg cat overload! I need to share this with my Cat obsessed friends!!
I’m a month into a six month trip and missing my lil fur-baby cat SO MUCH right now. This was just what I needed. Making fur-friends is always a highlight when traveling. <3
I’ve seen so many posts about Chefchaouen recently and now that I know there are kitties running around I’m all in! Looks gorgeous!
An outstanding share! I have just forwarded this onto a colleague who had been conducting a
little research on this. And he actually ordered me lunch
simply because I discovered it for him… lol. So allow me to
reword this…. Thanks for the meal!! But yeah, thanks for
spending time to talk about this subject here on your website. http://search.moshax.com//go.php?url=https://iworldcup2018.com
